This is the fine, matured malt its many fans have all been waiting for. You may already now that this modern Highland distillery raised the stakes for single malt Scotch – and has been rewarded with numerous distillery awards, along with the pleasure of watching their limited releases sell out in a flash to whisky lovers all over the world.
Using 100% unpeated spirit from their first year of distilling, the vintage single malt was captured at a ripe 50.0% ABV with no chill filtration nor added colour, after ten years of maturation.
This limited edition was finished in Paul Launois Champagne barriques – backed up by some first-fill Bourbon casks – to accentuate Ardnamurchan’s uniquely tropical, coastal Highland character.
