Distilled entirely in December of 2012, this vintage single malt is Old Bushmills’ first ever Christmas whiskey. For nearly 50 years now, Bushmills have been partnering the Paez Lobato family-owned bodega in Jerez, Spain to source juicy and fresh Sherry casks for their award-winning whiskies, including the oldest Irish single malt ever: a rare 46-year-old bottling, set to retail at over $21,000.This Christmas Edition has formed in one single, long maturation in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks from the very same bodega. Like a perfectly-baked pudding, this whiskey needs nothing added to it: no added finish, no added colours and bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.6% ABV (non-chill filtered, of course).
51.6% ABV.

I got this as a gift for my husband who loves Irish Whiskeys. It went down very well. He'd never heard of it before and thought it tasted great. The team at Dramples did a great job getting it to be fast and in time for his birthday even though I ordered last minute and they were fast at responding to me when I reached out with concern about if I would get it in time.
