Avid Aussie whisky collectors will need no introduction to Kinglake. This fully off-grid craft whisky distillery in the Victorian Highlands has been in production since 2018, slowly developing a cult following for their ethical relationship to the nature around them. Filled in the distillery’s first weeks of production, on 25th November 2018, this 200 litre first-fill ex-Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrel was laid down for seven years; until finally, on 2nd December 2025, it was bottled with no chill filtration or added colour and yielded only 200 bottles. This collab between Kinglake and The Whisky Club brings together their oldest release yet and some of their earliest whisky produced.
