So when we wanted to work with Overeem for a one-off Club exclusive, we knew exactly what style we wanted, and boy oh boy, did they deliver. Jane Overeem explains: “This might be the perfect expression of our love for South Australian Port casks – it’s classic Overeem Port Cask, but even richer, fuller and longer, thanks to the age and quality of the casks we used. ”The casks in question – a tiny parcel of 50+ year old ex-Barossa Valley Port casks – have imparted their decades of juiciness into Overeem’s multi-award-winning single malt to give us apricots, sticky dates, dark chocolate and dried cranberries. And that next-level colour is entirely natural, thanks to the strong cask influence. A 20th Anniversary Limited Edition release in collaboration with Australia's much celebrated The Whisky Club.
