One of the most anticipated annual releases from the Springbank distillery. The Local Barley is a limited release. Each year a particular Local Barley is used (as well as different make-up of the cask maturation). For this release Bere Barley, made famous by Bruichladdich's superb annual offerings is used so there is perhaps more anticipation than normal for this release given that Bere barley is perhaps only behind the famed Golden Promise in whisky lore.  Aged in 60% ex bourbon and 40% ex sherry casks. Springbank is one of the distilleries in Scotland that does all elements of production in house, and their local barley bottling aligns with their whisky making ethos.  This 2025 release is 10 Years Old and bottled at 55.2% ABV.
