Please note slight scuffing to the box as shown in one corner. One of the most anticipated annual releases from the Springbank distillery. The Local Barley is a limited release. Each year a particular Local Barley is used (as well as different make-up of the cask maturation). For this release Bere Barley, made famous by Bruichladdich's superb annual offerings is used so there is perhaps more anticipation than normal for this release given that Bere barley is perhaps only behind the famed Golden Promise in whisky lore.  Aged in 50% ex bourbon and ex sherry casks. Springbank is one of the distilleries in Scotland that does all elements of production in house, and their local barley bottling aligns with their whisky making ethos.  This 2025 release is 8 Years Old and bottled at 58.1% ABV.
