While the team at the distillery were putting together Starward Finished in Tawny Fortified Casks last year, they identified a couple of casks that were unique. These were set aside to see what another nine months in the rich South Australian Tawny casks would do.Starward Tawny Fortified Single Cask does not disappoint; It’s an intense, flavour-enhanced whisky that keeps the wonderful complex elements of the original, then ratchets it up to eleven. Bottled in 2022 with only 276 bottles from this single cask.
