Released to celebrate the renovations of Yamazaki Distillery in 2023 this much anticipated sample bottling (please note again 180ml bottling) of a Spanish Oak offering of Yamazaki bottled at an optimal 48% ABV. Rumour's suggest, this is the same or similar liquid to what is in the Yamazaki Tsukuriwake Spanish Oak and the ABV would add weight to that theory. As detailed on the bottle, this single malt whisky contains only carefully selected smoky whiskies aged in Spanish Oak casks from among the variety of distinctive Yamazaki Distillery malt whiskies. As well as the depth typical of Yamazaki Malt, it has a rich, fruity, spicy, bitter and softly smoky noses to be enjoyed. In order to enjoy the flavors of this whisky, they used a non-chill filtered manufacturing method.
